What does everybody use as hold down clamps on their cnc plasma tables?
I could do with either some sort of low profile hold down clamp or maybe a stop to prevent lightweight or small sheets moving when the torch head collides with a part that hasn't fully dropped through the sheet!
My table has wavey slats spaced 2-3" apart.
Cheers,
AD

i edited my photos that photosuckit deleted
check out the thread again
the clamps work well even if the slats are wavey as they clamp the material and snug up on the bottom of the slat

Re: Plasma table clamps?
That's a great simple solution. Clearly I was over thinking the problem. Every once in a while we get reminded to just get back to the basics. Thx

Re: Plasma table clamps?
I have several I've made, modeled on _Ogre's solution. They work great...as long as you have access to the bottom of your slats. As my table has filled up with debris, I find it's difficult to scrape out an opening on both sides for them to get under the slat.

I use f clamps and a piece of 1/8 strap to hold around the edges
