Hold Down Clamps

Has anyone made any hold down clamps say for a cnc router table? I would like to see any that you guys have made and work well, thanks.

I made a shallow box with some threaded inserts (1/4" X 20 threads) so I could have places to clamp my work down. This are in a grid pattern covering the surface of the box. I installed them from inside the box so they could not be pulled out. I will send pictures of the clamps I made latter today. last image is holding metal for plate marking.
