how do you check if drill operation is active? what do you add to the code, I mean what would you put in the if statement? if(*?*?*)trucutcnc wrote:
This will execute so fast that you may actually need to put a Sleep() statement between the two. To use the macro, edit your SC post onPenDown() function and check if a drill operation is active. If it is, use the custom macro instead of M03. Also edit onPenUp() and if a drill operation is active, do not call M05.

Re: BEST WAY TO MARK HOLE CENTRES
Now that I have a bit better idea how posts, commands, and my machine in general work, I need to try this for hole marking. I know Beefy eventually designed and used his "one shot" circuit, to get rid of the post-flow air situation. Maybe that would be something to look into as well. For now, the modified post seems to be more within reach.

Re: BEST WAY TO MARK HOLE CENTRES
Some one posted about cutting a hole and then drilling it to the correct size, I have found that the edge of the hole gets so hard from the plasma that its just kills a drill bit.
