I have lead in set to .25 perpendicular and on most of the pieces it shows in SheetCam but sometimes one or two will not have a lead in shown or produced when cutting.
The object is a polyline just like the others.
Start point 33 below, no matter where I move it will not show the lead in as 34 above it does.
Any insight appreciated.

There is no orphan node. I went to the original cad drawing and checked everything, it is a clean drawing.
To update this, I cut the file as it was and everything cut out fine, no lead in was cut at the start points in question.
When I import the file I get the message that "some paths were not generated correctly. There could be a problem with the drawing". I get this message frequently but when I check the job file in sheet cam for issues usually there are none, offsets are created, paths look good and the file cuts fine.
Using version 6.0.15 the latest stable version.

OK, that took me a while to find. If you zoom in really closely on the outline next to the actual start point you will see it is a rather strange shape. That is confusing the path generator. If you look closely at the cut path at that point you will see it is broken. SheetCam thinks this is an open path so it doesn't put in a leadin.
I have a suspicion this could be an artifact from arc matching. I am about to upload an update that has improved arc matching. Note arc matching only has an effect when you import a drawing. Could I have a copy of that drawing so I can run some tests on it.

I do know that piece is a closed polyline, I checked and rechecked, so is whatever is happening being done by SheetCam? Dan at LDR tells me I have the weirdest crap happen all the time!!!
It does not like two of your pieces, not sure why they look fine in all my cad programs. When I delete those and copy and paste another one of the parts it works fine.

Yep, I did the same. But from what Les has posted and is investigating I think it is a SheetCam issue and not CAD. Will wait for the verdict to come back.

I had a look at the drawing. If you zoom in closely on the drawing where the cut actually starts there is definitely something odd in the dxf file. I originally thought it might be a problem with SheetCam's arc detection but it is definitely in the drawing. I have attached a couple of images of the problem area.
This a close up of the problem area. If you zoom in really close on the right hand part of that arc you will see a small overlap. Overlaps really confuse the path generator.
Wow, thanks for the look see. I went over those items many times. Actually I can zoom in and see what you have but when I try to fix it remains the same. I just deleted the offending parts and copied another that works.
