I just got a contract to build a few different style brackets for a client and was wondering is there a function on the plasmaCAM software to wich you can draw one item then have the whole 4x4 sheet filled with the item... versus using the copy method.? I can fit about 100 of these pieces on a 4x4 sheet was just wondering if there's an easier/faster way other then the copy button...
Thank you
Adam

Re: plasmCAM DHC2 question..
Adam,
You can use the nesting feature to do what you are wanting.
It will nest all parts in order to get the most out of your sheet.(great feature).
Just keep in mind it will put them very close together and depending on the thickness of material, just keep an eye out for warping on the sheet.

Re: PlasmCAM DHC2 NESTING Question..
Adam,
I will have to go through my manual today to get the exact procedures to nest them.
I used it a few times a couple of years ago but not a lot since.
From what I can remember it was real easy, just haven't used the feature in a while.
I will look at the manual today and get back to you.
