So guys and gals,
Last night I was cutting out some things and I noticed a small wobble along then length of my machine torch.
It extends quite a bit down from its adjustable holder.
These "wobbles" translate into a tiny bit of wavyness after the torch changes direction.... and that stinks.
So, I am looking for ideas on how to secure it a little better to remove the shimmy.
I initially thougth it was the table slats that were causing the wobble....until last night.
I plan on adjusting the gantry guide wheels again to ensure they are not contributing to the issue.
I also am going to look at lowering the torch mount so it is closer to the workpiece that way not as much torch is hanging out in the wind.... subjecting it to wobbling.
So.... Ninjas of the plasma world... What do ya think would solve this?

Good to know that is avaliable... But with my setup, that baby wouldnt reachmy material.
I think I may remove that long handle for adjusting the torch height, that way the entire thing has less mass to move around. then I may build a gusset with rollers to support with side force on the extended part of the torch.
Thanks, Jim
