Ohmnic sensor for P1250

Ohmnic sensor for P1250
Hi Jim - I am wondering it the 220061 ohmnic sensor cap workd with both shielded and fine cut Nozzles? I have been cutting quite a bit of light gauge material and am switching to ohmnic sensing with the floating head switch as a back up to it. Just wondering which cap to order for ohmnic. I am using the 80A machine torch.

Yes Bill...the ohmic sensor works...but only if you use the correct shield. Use the ohmic cap with the 220404 shield...this shield extends slightly below the nozzle....so it makes contact with the plate. Attached is a picture of the FineCut parts for use with the original 1250 torch. I copied this from the Powermax1250 operators manual...
