duplicate lines.

duplicate lines.
Sometimes when i do a trace or am just working in corel draw x5 i end up with duplicate lines.one image on top of the other.Is the any correct ,fast way to just remove one on the images?Thanks Jim

Easiest way to do this is when you make a trace, be sure to select "Group objects by color". What this will do is group all the "whites" in one group and all the "Blacks" in another etc... Then, select the trace, select "arrange->ungroup" (Not ungroup all!!!). Now you can select each color, move to the side and keep or delete as needed. This should remove nearly all the double objects.
Another thing I will do is to select the individual objects and then "Trim" them from the background object, then delete the original object. This way everything will be embedded into the main object and you can be sure to only have one cut line.
