Ok as the title says please critique this cut for me since I have several of these plates to cut yet.
I'm using a dynatorch 5'x10', the power source is a hypertherm 1250, I'm using 60 am consumables as the book calls for.
I am using a refrigerated air dryer also(should I be using an inline filter too?)
The material is 3/8" A36(hold rolled steel)
set point for thc 141
feed rate 45
pierce height 4/16"(1/4")
.75 pierce delay
I have my pierce height at 1/4" to try and save my tips, the down side is that the 1" circles are cut at that height then, the thc is turned off for the small circles.
This piece has 426 pierces in it, I got 422 before my tip failed
I think my speed can be turned up some, but would like for some more input.
To keep the material from warping I kept spraying water on it with an old spray gun, I'd wait till the torch was done making a cut and mist it every 2 cuts or so. That part worked it kept the pieces very flat.
I appreciate any comments, thank you in advance.

One thing you can do in the Dynatorch software is go to the thick plate settings button at the top of the screen. Right click on it for settings and you can set a pierce height then after .xx seconds drop to a set cut height while still keeping the THC frozen on small holes. Lots of options in these settings and you can really fine tune piercing there.
