Powermax 45 question

Can anybody tell me what this is for and where it connects to? I have a Hypertherm powermax 45 and machine torch and torchmate 2 x 4 table.

I think its a remote on/off switch. I just got my Powermax85 and it has one also. It plugs in where the controller cable plugs into the cutter. I don't know how you will make it work if using a control cable. Mabe some one (Jim Colt) can fill us in.

You won't need to use it, since your computer will be turning the torch on/off.

what i did was use the cable, and ran that to my cnc control box, there is only two wires in there. saves me having to wire into the machine works great, i have that same unit, and a torch mate 2x2
