I want to purchase the powermax 30 just for hand cutting, anyone have one? how does it work. 1/4" sometimes but mostly 1/8" cutting. Any feedback would be great...

I have a PowerMax-30 on my PlasmaCam.
It's done everything I've asked of it, including some 1/4" diamond plate.
Very happy with the machine.

Keep the duty cycle in mind as you do your evaluation.

Thanks A,D, I have the 600 on my Nitro Table and it is great. I will be using the 30 for fab in the shop so I don't need to remove the 600 off the table all the time.

That's where my -30 is destined to be when I upgrade.

It's a pits to realign the hand torch on the table.
