Corel to PlasmaCam
I have decided to go with Corel Draw for my program to create projects to cut with my PlasmaCam. I can save in dxf format but cannot open in PlasmaCam... any suggestions would help! Thanks. Samantha

Re: Corel to PlasmaCam
Samantha,
When you save the dxf, try saving it as version R10 or earlier.
Here's a link to an earlier thread on the topic.

You might also want to check out DXFTool. It's a dxf-exporting utility at http://www.CorelDrawTools.com
(it solves some of Corel's "issues")
Good Luck,
Clark

Re: Corel to PlasmaCam
Samantha,
I have the same format as you, Corel and Plasmacam. First, save your drawing from Corel as a dxf file. When you are in Plasmacam selct "import" then select your dxf file. This will get your file into Plasmacam and then you have to save it as a PCM file.
Hope this works for you! If you have any troubles PM me.
