Hypertherm sync adapter
I have a Hypertherm 65 with a machine torch installed on my table, bought the sync adapter and fine cut cartridge to use. For some reason it doesn't seem to come up tight to the torch head and doesn't fire when commanded. Anybody have any advice or knowledge of the sync adapter?

Re: Hypertherm sync adapter
Are you using a Duramax torch?

That is very strange. Do you get a 0-50 error on your Powermax LCD screen with the adapter installed?

I think that’s the error, it doesn’t seem to come up tight like with the hand torch

Very strange. I would be interested in seeing a pic of it installed if you could snap one with your phone and post it.

Are you sure that you have your swirl ring removed before attempting to install the adapter?Tinner23 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 1:24 pm I have a Hypertherm 65 with a machine torch installed on my table, bought the sync adapter and fine cut cartridge to use. Then I would contact your Hypertherm rep to find out what the problem is. I know that Robert has been using the Sync adapter on his Duramax torch with great success.

OK. On mine if the cartridge is taken off the plasma unit detects that even if the adaptor stays on
