cut master 82 air flow?
i'm setting up my cutmaster 82 with a diy 4x4 table... my question is with this machine the air flow continues after torch arc is stopped, it flows for a pre set time.. can this be changed as im afraid that after cuts on the table the gantry will blow parts when moving to home also building a water table and don't need excess water flying after cut is done, your feed back is welcomed Bob

Re: cut master 82 air flow?
Just put a delay in the gcode that keeps the torch from moving after each cut.
Since theses are air cooled torches I wouldn't think changing the settings would be too good of an idea as I believe this is a cooldown flow setting

Re: cut master 82 air flow?
The after cut flow is called postflow...and it is there to properly cool the consumable parts after each cut cycle. If you limit the flow...you will shorten the consumable life. The torch will refire during this postflow.
