I run a Hypertherm HPR 260 on a Multicam 3000. I am having a problem with the torch diving. Seems to be consistent with 10 andd 12 Ga MS at 50 amp O2/O2. Pierce is made and immediately dives into plate as cut starts until cut hieght is determined. I have the ccut height set higher than i would like in hopes that if I am lucky it will recover quick enough not to drag and break away. I have tried setting the delay on the THC to zero, which made no diff.
Thoughts?

Re: Diving
I would recommend calling MultiCam's tech service....the Torch height control is their design on that machine. It sounds like a simple background setup parameter such as an AVC delay setting. They should be able to help you with this pretty easily.
