Are intersections a issue

Hi all,
I have just entered the plasmacam space and looking to learn about designedge software and have been cutting some art
My question is "is eliminating intersections important? As some of the designs I have inherited when I brought the machine
(Second hand) cut out okay but some dont I am in Australia and would appreciate any advise

Yes - removing intersections/crossovers can be important. Perhaps post one or two of your files here so we can take a look and give you some tips on editing them.
