New to design edge drawing basics

Hello from South Carolina. just set up my Plasma cam table with the design edge software and started cutting out some shapes. When I try to design something myself I'm having some trouble. Tring to figure out how to draw a line to a specific length.

It may help to move this to the PlasmaCam section, there are many here that use it and may answer quicker if posted there.

Also refer to the Video Manual Chapters 6 and 7 for drawing techniques.

You could also watch some of Robert 's Learn Plasmacam videos and/or sign up for one of his classes.

Tom - this actually is the Plasmacam - Design Edge section. So he did come to the right place for answers about the software. The other section if for questions about the hardware.
