Maxpro 200 vs Powermax 85
Is there anyone out there with a maxpro200? I am thinking of upgrading from my powermax85. Interested in cut quality hole quality etc in thicker materials. Thanks!

Re: Maxpro 200
I have not used one personally but have seen them cut and they are impressive. If you cut a lot of thicker materials this is superior for hole quality, edge quality, and duty cycle. 3 phase only and not as simple as the Powermax systems and consumables cost more.

Re: Maxpro 200 vs Powermax 85
Thanks. I know its three phase, I am purchasing a convertor for my brake and thought it may be wise to get one large enough to run a 200 while im at it... I cut enough thicker metal that I am considering either that or an oxyfuel head. Of course the edge quality is not great with oxy fuel. The max pro seems simple enough, at least it is available with a hand torch so I think it should be easy enough to control.
