jump start signal on a TD plasma cutter

have some issues with my torch table. my plasma cutter just arcs/sparks continuously. trying to narrow it down. wanting to run the torch without using the computer/THC. Someone mentioned to jumper start signal on plasma cutter. Is there any instructions on how to do this? Have a TD A40 cutmaster
