I have a slow flashing light on my powermax 45 and I believe the book says it is from a "torch stuck open" condition? I have replaced all consumables with genuine hypertherm but the light still flashes?
The torch does work but I am concerned about the light.
I am using the torch on my homemade cnc table. It has the straight torch made for mechanized cutting.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Powermax 45 error light
I should have added that the torch is practically brand new. Probably less than ten hours on it.

There are few lights on the 45 that will blink to indicate certain issues. Can you confirm exactly which light is blinking?

Re: Powermax 45 error light
OK so by looking at your picture you have a 45 XP and not a 45, big difference.
The LED you see blinking is the Cut Mode LED and when it blinks it's indicating you have adjusted the air pressure manually.
I don;t own a 45xp by try pressing the Mode button to switch it from Cut mode to Gouge mode and back to cut mode and you should be back in auto air pressure mode and the LED should no longer be blinking.
