Cutting speed and cut height can influence the amount of dross on your parts.

As previously stated, speed and height. Also current, and CLEAN, DRY, AIR! :)
Do you have an air dryer inline?

Considering everything is operating as it should do the following:
As stated above, Make sure you have clean, dry air.
New consumables
Verify cut height is set correctly. Not by settings but by physically measuring the actual cut height.
Make sure your cut speed and power are set correctly for the material you are cutting.
This should get you in ballpark. From here do some test cuts at different cut speeds until you dial in the best setting.
When set correctly you should have very little dross. It also helps to know if you have high speed or low speed dross. If it is heavy dross and easily breaks off it is generally low speed dross. Try increasing your cut speed. If it is finer dross and hard to chip off it is probably high speed dross. Try lowering your cut speed.
