M60 Patton tank
I want to thank Jack for his files when I asked for help but I decided to sit down and work on my skills for drawing my own. I know some of you will point out my many faults in this but I'm pretty happy with it and it will work for what I want. It is to be cut at around 30" wide. I hope someone can get some use out of it.

Re: M60 Patton tank
I for one am glad you worked on your drawing skills as I got a nice M60 tank file out of the deal.
Thank you for the share. I don't know who would criticize this or any of your drawings in such a manner and if I saw such behavior I'd take offence. Never listen to that stuff anyway, hope to see you post more.

Re: M60 Patton tank
I've posted in the past Ben, as I've been a member here for many years. Whenever I would post a file all I would hear from the plasma elites were remarks such as "Wayyyy too many nodes, What version did you save that as? Auto Cad 1?" It had discouraged me from sharing any of my work or trying to help other members. Sometimes the newbies don't know the correct vernacular to look up the videos on YouTube. That or you get someone speaking in s foreign language and so fast that you can't follow along. Everyone needs to remember where they started out and that not all of us are constantly on here asking for freebies. Sorry for the long rant but this has been chewing on me for years.

Re: M60 Patton tank
Looks great, thanks for the share.
I cringe when I think how many hours I would spend on some of the easiest stuff. We all grow at a different level too. I'm great compared to where I used to be but an amateur among others.
Those who criticize need to take a step back and look at a situation through another's eyes.
Here's to a new year may we all be better

Re: M60 Patton tank
I'm very sorry to hear this and yes, I'm quite familiar with you. Sure you remember this: Though done 5-15-2015 I remember it like yesterday as it left an indelible mark upon my drawing progress. Filled with doubt I didn't know if it were good enough (main worry) as it was one of the first faces I'd attempted soon be posted to a public forum no less. When you saw the result all my fears were laid to rest. While done to 'help' another member I soon felt I was the one that was helped as my confidence was boosted giving me what I needed to advance my drawing. I credit you for this and am sorry to hear your experience.eggauto wrote: Fri Jan 03, 2020 12:54 am I've posted in the past Ben, as I've been a member here for many years. To me helping the 'noobs' is what it's all about. Especially helping them learn and watching them grow in all aspects. To me it's so much more rewarding than 'helping' someone by simply providing a file (money involved or not) and I for one am glad to see the rule changes as they weed out the freeloaders you mention, whom you and other long standing members obviously are not. Drawing freelance online is how I support my family and PlasmaSpider is where I go to help. Provides balance in my life and I get to meet people like you.

No need for an apology nor need to let something gnaw at you. Always best to get it out and never let the naysayers change what you do.

Happy New Year to all and Amen to us all being better. (Thanks cstroke

Managed to get it cut today. The only thing that I would suggest is to either break the line at the top of the tracks or delete it all together. It warps a bit otherwise.
