I select the polyline output when prompted and uncheck spline output box, ive tried unselecting both, selecting both, selecting 1 at a time.

dxf's saving as splines not polylines
For some unknown reason every time I save an inkscape drawing as a dxf it always out puts arcs as splines when opening in cad programs, i only encountered this problem yesterday, before this it was all good.
I select the polyline output when prompted and uncheck spline output box, ive tried unselecting both, selecting both, selecting 1 at a time.

Both boxes need to be unchecked
Have you restarted Inkscape after unchecking the boxes?
Are you using the beta version or the stable version?
