Modifying Font's in Solidworks

Post by slvr98svt »

I know most of you guys probably use Coreldraw or some other drawing software. But I am an engineer by trade and use Solidworks almost exclusively. I noticed at a lot of the fonts on 10,000 fonts still wont hold O's and e's etc. So what program do you guys use to modify the font with?

I don't believe there is a way in Solidworks to be able to modify a font once you type out what you want. So I am looking for some help in broadening my usable font library!

Thanks,
-Matt

Nevermind guys, answered my own question! Looks like I'm not as versed in the "font" department of Solidworks as I thought I was!

In case any of you are wondering, choose your font that you want to use. Then right click on it after you have inserted what you are writing , and click on "dissolve sketch text" It then breaks the text up into normal lines & curves and you modify as you please.

Hope it helps someone else out there!
