Designing cones

Post by pertneer »

I have seen a couple of people ask about getting a dxf file for cones on here a few times. I came across a free software to design cones that will output a dxf file. The software is free for download. The name of the software is Cone Calc by I-Logic software (I have no affiliation with company). It is really easy to use to generate the dxf file. I have not cut a file, but they look like they should work.

This is great. I had a similar program years ago I used for making 2 stroke exhaust pipes but this is far better. Anyone looking to do custom lampshades etc will love this, very easy to use. Thanks for the info!

funny thing, I had a cone calc program that worked off a website and it just went dead awhile ago.
Downloaded this program and is a great replacement.
