Can CorelDraw output DXF format for autocad 2004???
I have an import plasma table, the software will only import DXF files up to Autocad 2004 which autodesk says is unsupported. our graphics designer uses the latest coreldraw. i want to bring in different fonts to cut on the table for product and company name, logos etc.. tried this with Inkscape but it outputs autocad R14 version DXF that import software won't pull up. Can coreldraw generate what i'm looking for ?

Usually you can use an older export just not a newer one. R14 was released in 1997. 2004 was released in 2004. It may not be the release. You will have to explode fonts (turns them to ojbects)

The DXF export from Coreldraw is not the greatest. It does not do arcs or circles and exports as line segments. It's too bad your machine only takes DXF. If it would take conventional G-Code you would have a lot more options. So does it have a built in CAM program that lets you define the cuts, feed rates, lead ins and cut order?
