Here is something that may help some. I finished the water table for my new table today it is 18 Ga just over 4X8 size. I paid a local sheet metal shop to bend it for me (great deal $20.). I had to weld the corners closed and this is how I did it. I cut a piece of copper tube to make a flat plate bend it to a 90 degree so I could clamp it on the corners as shown. I mig welded the inside then removed the copper and mig welded the outside edge. I ran a 1/2" tube dow each long top edge for support.

NO matter what it is someone has a neat way to do things

My problem would be when the caster go over the edge I would fall on the floor
