I have yet to do a real paying job for a customer and this could be a first, this person got in touch with me asking for a price...How much to make 6 of these for a Minus the plaque ? 12"x12"... He didn't specify thickness..... Ballpark for 6
Price #1 painted mounted on wood
Price #2 just to cut the steel

I would tell them $15 -20 each. Probably closer to 15.
Figure $5 in paint, $40 in material and $5 in a flap wheel
So make like $50 for an hour of work
And you can probably get away with design charge as a one time fee $20-30 range
