powermax 1000 question
cutting on 16 g. everything was fine and then i had to change consumables. can you tell me why you get this..(picture)

You really have not provided enough information to answer with any hope of getting it right!
-Cutting machine brand, model.
-Height control system?
- What material and thickness?
-What consumable set (shielded, what amperage?.....FineCut, what amperage?)
-Cutting specs on the material in the picture.
If it is the top dross (the only thing I can see from the pic that looks out of the normal) that you are talking about:
-Top dross is from the torch being too high off the material.
-Top dross can be caused by damaged or worn consumables.
-Top dross can be caused by incorrect cut speed.
-Top dross can be caused by incorrect amperage.
-Top dross can be caused by incorrect cut air pressure.
-And a few more!
