Cut Path Setup

I am using the older Plasmacam DHC design software (not the updated design edge) and I am having an issue where my cut wants to start at the opposite end of a line from where I click to start it. This seems to be a new problem. I get this whether I have 'snap' on or off. So to setup my file, I have to go around selecting the opposite end of all my cuts. It starts correctly with hole conversions, unless I re-link those lines and have to click the cut path all over again in which case it does the same. Anyone know if there was a setting or something I may have bumped by accident? I can't seem to figure out what would cause this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
