plasmacam requirements?

OK so this is MIFabs wife. MiFab is on the road quite a bit so I was thinking about getting him one of them tablets is there anyway one of them that would work for him to be able to do some designing/ get it ready to transfer to his main computer when he is home.... O he has plasmacam V3.11.

I haven't messed with it alot, but there are some software products out there that have limited CAD use to them as a app on a tablet. I have an autocad app, but it is more for viewing only. main thing is to get something that will be able to save in a .dxf format. plasmacam will then import that file.

My recommendation, if he is computer savvy and he must know a thing or two since he has plasmacam, would be to get one of the newer tablet/laptops with windows 8. Can use it for any tablet related apps, and also can load an actual software for editing files.
