thankyou David im abit embarrassed as i dont know how to properly copy and paste a file, ive sent you a pm but cant seem to send it as a link. I cut the truck file which im happy with i converted the grill to a bedford which is more of a uk style compared to chevvy. Next time i do the same file ill start with the file sent me, thankyou

Denz - I received your dxf file and here is a quick method to use to measure the slot width.

Thankyou David I tried your method and got the same result so all good. I’ve always dreaded computers/laptops but thanks for your help and others on this forum I’m actually waking up on the morning looking forward to going on the laptop and learning new things. Few weeks ago I had to get the wife to send an e-mail for me but now it’s like she ain’t got a clue what I’m on about when it comes to cnc/Inkscape/downloads/dxf etc so I’m feeling clever
