OK. Thanks! The white table color is what got me confused. What is the overall size of the part? And how many individual pieces are there?
Thanks,
David

Understandable for sure. The white background did a great job of isolating the part.

The boom is 54" wide so I've been using that for scaling purposes. Not sure how many layers there are or how they're split up. I've just been working off of the photo.

I'm getting my arms around things pretty well at this point. Made the white tanks on the back proper, made the exhaust silver, and started cleaning up other problem areas (the tires are difficult to get right). I've been chatting with David about making the open paths closed loops as well. I'll likely do that before this gets cut. That's an easy change once I get it dialed in with the stroke width.

Mostly sharing for the sake of sharing. Seeing the comparison overlay (without the white backer) on the original photo is really cool.

Agreed. I thought it would look strange without a black border to act as a 'trim piece'. The trim piece actually looks weird.

Proper roof. Added the second white jug on the back. Lug nuts on wheels. Tuned up the tires a bit more.

Darkened up my Inkscape desk so the white backer was more prominent. Made the colors a bit more realistic by using the dropper on the reference pic to define the fill colors. Second layer is lighter black. Stroke color on the top layer matches the color of the second layer. This should be a pretty realistic view of what the final product may look like.
