All the M codes except M10/M11 are macros in MACH . On some protiles the M code does more than just fire the torch, it also delays the motion until the ARC OK INDICATOR on the screen) is on . it used on systems with longer torch hoses . If it works for you then use it. It makes no real sense why it won't work without it unless your M43 macro in MACH is different.

Thanks for the reply. My M03 macro just has the DoSpinCW() command. I'll have to look at M43. Not familiar with that one. Never seen it in my gcode.
If I include the M03 it's like it overrides the M11 and makes the torch stay on.
If I don't use the M03 then I shouldn't need M05 either, correct? Since the M10 will shut the torch off.
I just remember reading a post from you that said you needed to have both M03 and M11, but I wasn't sure what would happen if you didn't.

Were you able to get a final resolution to this issue or is there another thread? I have the same issue with the torch not turning off. Looks like i still need to try removing the M03.

Kinda lost track of it. I guess I gave up and just dealt with the divots. Maybe you will have better luck finding an answer.

Have you tried using a negative value in the overcut setting, maybe that might get the same result?

You cannot use BOTH M03 and M05 AND M10 /M11. Actually its the M05 that is causing the issue. What ever you Fire the torch with you have to use the matching off command.

Okay. So we should replace the m03/m05 with m11/m10. That makes sense.
