I was wondering the same thing.

I watched the installation video and the execution is ingenious. The elimination of a chuck is a huge cost cutting engineering feat. I'd be very interested to hear from AD to see if they'd consider a "Plasma Spider" group buy as a kit for those people that think there's a good way to adapt it to their setup. Considering how many people here use the CandCNC Bladerunner controllers, the only issue I could see would be getting the MACH3 profile to work with tables that aren't already Arclight Dynamic's machine.

Great... I originally bought one of these when I purchased my table over 2 years ago and have never used it. Really looking forward to seeing the videos and getting it going. Most of my stuff is pretty simple but this will be a great addition as your videos helped me to really get going.

I looked at the original video of the pipe cutter and I though it could be adapted to another table. It would need to have a alternate torch mount to that extended the torch to a position past the side of the table in the “Y” direction. Then a bracket for the pipe drive could be attached to the side of the table in the “X” direction and the a additional alternate “X” motor used to rotate the pipe. And the motor drive signals from the original “X” motor then switched to the alternate “X” pipe drive.
This would have the alternate “X” drive rotating the pipe and the “Y“ drive would move the torch to cut the pipe in the lengthwise direction.
But this may be my DIY mind running amuck

slight problem in my description the "Y" would rotate the pipe and the "X" would move the torch up and down the pipe.

We have seen a few posts asking if we would assist/modify/support our pipe cutter on different plasma systems. Currently we do not have a pipe cutter that would be available for other tables. However, we have taken these suggestions into consideration and we thank you for the feedback!

So I'll take that challenge. How does one go about buying these cutters separately from your tables?? laterally adapting mechanical engineering is so much fun.

Has anyone else cut a tube yet with the flame pattern. I would like to see if anyone could share a file to get started with.
