I have a ring containing the Wyoming bucking horse withing it and Wyoming cut into the base. A pretty common design.
At a farmers market today, I told a prospective customer that it is priced at $35.00.

He asked if I would take $20.

Sorry gang, but I'm too old to be insulted. I looked him in the eye and said 'why don't you just ask me for fifeteen in cash?'.

At that point I knew that there would be no sale and maybe some trash-talk, but I will NOT accept abuse. Call me a poor salesman, but I'm a proud one.

Yep Dano, that happened to me also, I just plainly tell them NO the price is the price, if they don't like it they can go to Wal Mart and have it deteriorate in a season. They seem to come back for some reason, LOL.

I did refer him to a company in Cheyenne.
Theirs isd $56.95 plus shipping.
I doubt he will take the time to look it up. His attitude told me that he didn't really want the item as much as he wanted something for nothing.

I once had someone ask me about the price of a custom creation. They asked if the price was negotiable. My answer was,
