Pricing Dilema

Post by crazy59860 »

Ok. I would like to know what you all would price this at. Just am wondering if I am out of line. Its 43 inches tall and 36 inches wide. Its just the V's and the wheat. I have it on my display board. It has 4 4in standoffs on the back. Give me your honest quotes.
Thank you
Toni

Is this something for a customer or a spec piece. Either way ID be in the $500+ range as a minimum. On custom customer pieces I charge $45 hr 2 hour minimum for design fee plus I try to stay in the $45 per square foot for cut and if painting or FXing I double the per square foot price. I know this may seem high but it gets rid of a lot of tire kickers. This being said I also try to work with the customer and ask what they have budgeted for the project its kinda like car dealing if they give me a $100 budget for a $500-600 project I put this on the table and see where it goes.

Thanks. I live in a very small town where the pockets squeak. I didn't have a lot in design time other than making a lot of small changes, thanks to all here at plasma spider for files.....(the wheat came from here). I told them 375.00.
Thanks for the input. You all are great!
