I just got my new PM65 083270 but didn't realize I needed the CPC connections to use it on my plasma table. I called my local dealer and told them I wanted a PM65 today and I got the basic unit that was in local stock. So I need the CPC port and the mini machine torch to use it.
I'm running a custom built table with a Proforma Height controller on Z, everything worked with my old Miller 375 till it died.
So what part numbers do I need and where can I get them locally in Los Angeles. Or I was looking on Hyper4less.com they have the best pricing so far, has anyone dealt with them?

You could use the 083270 system with hand torch on your machine....however you would need to hack intoi the trigger wiring in order to interface to the machine.....something I cannot recommend as a Hypertherm employee as it requires bypassing safety features.
You can field upgrade the plasma with the CPC / voltage divider upgrade (part number 228696, with instructions for iunstallation). This provides you with the connector for the rear panel, and an internal voltage divider that provides 5 settable output ratios (20:1, 21.1:1, 30:1, 40:1, and 50:1) that will work with many height control systems....not sure what your height control requires.
You will also need the cable (part number 228350) which plugs into the CPC port and brings the start signal, the divided output voltage as well as the "arc transferred" signal back to your machine interface connections...this cable is 25' long.
The mini machine torch is part number 059482 (25' lead) and will come with no consumables....so you will need to order those as well. It will use the same consumables as the hand torch with the exception of the machine torch shield.
You can find local dealers by going to www.hypertherm.com and click on "where to buy".

Re: Powermax 65 Machine torch and CPC do I need voltage divider
I called Hypertherm customer service in the morning I ordered:
059476 machine torch assy
850920 fine cut kit
228697 upgrade CPC port with voltage ratio kit
For the machine connection from the CNC. I'm just going to get a 14 pin connector with a custom cable to my CNC contol box I think. Did I get all the components I'm going to need from Hypertherm?
