Jim & others here is a pic of my 1250 w/ Duramax cut sample in 3/8 plate. 2" hole, 1" hole, decorative heart. Ya gotta love it when the machine cuts like this.

DAMMMMMM, I have to hook um my duramax I bought from Oldsarge!! I also have the feather touch here waiting to be hooked up!!!!!!!!!!! Was trying to use all my old 1250 consumables and not wanting to make all the cut parameter changes on all my old tap files.... Guess I need to get busy!! LOL Did you change from book setings at all Bill??

Lou the only change I made from Hypertherms reccomendations was changing feed rate for the holes down to 30 IPM. the rest cut at book value of 41 IPM . I did use cut rules in Sheetcam that slows down to 70% just as it approaches corners and then speeds back up to normal.
Hook up that Duramax and the feather touch both - you will love them. The Feathertouch omnic sensing helps a lot with thin material but I use it on everything and love both.

Looks good! The Duramax torch is definitely an improvement over the G3 torches that were original equipment on the Powermax1000, 1250 and 1650.
