Cuts Not Finishing Correctly

Hello

We have a plasma table that was running on a gecko drive system, we changed this to a 5 axis driver because we were having a variety of problems. Once we made the change and calibrated the drivers we did a few dry runs with out cutting and it looked like all our problems went away. So we started to cut some pieces that we cut with out any problems before.. NOW what is happening is that the cuts are not meeting. This is not happening all the time but basically for example when it cuts the outside it will start and then just before about a 1/8 in it gets to the ending it stops. I have tried to check settings in mach3 but see nothing that would cause this sudden change.

When you say it "stops" does the torch go out or just sit still? Have you waited long enough to see if it starts another cut?
Could be your dxf lines are not connected? Just guessing.

The dxf file that we are cutting was working perfect until we changed drivers. As for stopping yes it stops and torch goes out In mach it shows the process as complete. Again thank you for your help I cant seem to find the answer anywhere.

Sounds like you maybe loosing steps. Look at acceleration would be where I would start.

Also try adding a lead out so that it finished the cut?

Thank you for your advice, We went through everything again, then all of a sudden one of the motors stopped working. We replaced it and now the problem is gone. So I have to assume that was the problem all along.
