custermer can't open dxf

I've drawn a sign for a customer and he can't open the dxf file. He has his own table with Hypertherm PRONEST and AutoCAD LT. He gets the message that the file is in read-only mode. At my end the file loads properly.
Ideas anyone?

here is the file he is trying to open. Can everyone else open it? maybe the problem is at my end. It was drawn and exported with Corel Draw x6

Opens fine in AutoCAD 2014 Lite . . .

Tell him to download DRAFTSIGHT . . . it will be useful down the road also.

So the problem was that my customer was using AutoCAD LT 2004 and I was exporting to DXF 2014. After I exported it to DXF 2004 it worked great.

HEY IF HE IS TRYING TO OPEN IN TO NEST IT! SOMETIMES I HAVE TO CLICK ON THE ITEM TO HIGHLIGHT IT THEN HIT THE CUT ALL LAYERS !!!! TAB AND THEN IT WILL APPEAR WHEN HE PUTS IN IN THE NEST TO CUT IT! I HAVE PRONEST ALSO! KYLE

After I exported it to DXF 2004 it worked great

Been using Autocad for 20+ years, this happens a lot. You can set your Autocad to save as an older version automatically and eliminate these problems.
In Tools/Options/Open & Save/File Save As Tab, click on pull down and choose an older version. It will always save to that version until you change the setting.
