Open DXF in Inkscape?

Open DXF in Inkscape?
I am able to open some dxf files in inkscape but not all. Any suggestions would help. I am new to this so if this is a dumb question in apologize in advance.

Download Qcad and resave them as an SVG or a newer version of DXF and they will open up just fine.
