What would you do? -Scene on SawBlade

Post by jeeplogic83 »

This weekend I scored a 53.5 inch circular saw blade from a yard sale for $40.00 I was thinking about cutting a scene in it but should I save it for a custom order? I really don't have a good venue to sell this thing if I pre-cut a scene in it.
Thanks for any input.

I'm kinda in the same boat except I haven't bought the blade yet. I saw one at a local business and thought it would be neat to cut a scene in it and sell it. But do you buy it, cut the scene and hope it sells or buy it and wait for a customer to buy it and custom order a scene. I figure if I choose a scene and pre-cut it then I will have customers wanting it with a different scene.

Hang on to it. I still have wierd things that I will use on a sign when the right time comes. I cut 6 different knife blank designs out of bandsaw blades for a good fellow in Antigonishwww.xxx knives.com. you might know someone who can use this steel.

I'd wait too... You'll kick yourself later if you cut a scene in it and you get a use for it.
