Hi all and greetings from Italy. I'm new in this forum and before posting, I would like to introduce myself to this community.
My name is Sandro and more or less I'm a software developer. I said more or less because my main activity in the last three years has been to write post processors for Cimatron, a CAM program mainly dedicated to milling both in 3 and 5 axis.
I'm not an expert of plasma cutting technology but I'm strongly interested to learn more about this from the experts since I have written an application that create a toolpath starting from a DXF file but its' oriented to engraving and milling rather than cutting. I would like to improve it addign support for cutting but there are some technical aspects that I'm not aware of and I need to know. I hope to be allowed to put questions here.
Many thanks in advance !
Sandro
PS: Please ignore my english errors, my italian is better !
