im having problems with slag on the backside im cutting 14 ga running100 ips 35 amps .08 cut height if run any faster the machine will not cut all the way through the metal ive been playing with my amps and cut speed trying to clean it up my hyper therm unit is broke and im trying to use a northern plasma 375 to get by with there is no cut info for this plasma cutter so any help would be greatly appreciated

not expecting the same quality just maby a little better it maks for alot of grinding and my budget is thin right now

SOP for setting speed and amperage parameters is still the same.

Make several straight line cuts with different speed or amp settings for each cut. Make good notes for each cut. Then inspect material and select the best cut. Use those parameters for that material.
