Hypertherm 45 wiring help needed

Post by KIMFAB »

New to plasma cutting here and just got my Koike Aronson table up and running with the old controller.
I got a Hypertherm 45 cutter mounted up and made a first cut. very impressive.

However it came with the manual torch which I understand cuts the same as the machine torch but when in use the machine connections are supposedly inoperative.

Is there a way to nicely set the unit up to use the manual torch with the machine connections or do I have to make some modifications?

I'm currently still in the experimental stage and will be setting up a breakaway mount and possibly going to a different controller.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Got the answer I needed on this one.
It's unfortunate that for every action there are several lawyers waiting to sue

I'll probably use some kind of solenoid setup to run the manual switch.

The bellows came with the table.

Can't seem to find a name on them, Maybe Koike Aronson might know.
