Is this the best I can do with .25 alum?? Letters are 1" X 5/8" Had to do a little file work..

Looks pretty close to what my Powermax 45 does on 1/4" aluminum. I haven't cut too much of it to dial my settings in, but I don't see it improving too terribly much.

Looks about right to me. You could do better with a $400,000 water jet machine.....at a lot slower cut speed! Conventional lasers (also in the $400k price range) do not do well on aluminum....the newer Fiber Lasers (about the same price again) do better on aluminum to about 3/8".

I was wondering....I'm not sure I would have attempted aluminum letters that thick that were only 1" tall! Maybe out of some 1/8" or so. Nice job...
