I'm getting real close to having the table dialed in. I'm still not there yet... I'll be calling Tom at CandCNC tomorrow to work out a few small things. Meanwhile, here's a video of the table cutting. It sure is satisfying to have this thing running & close to dialed in... it was a LOT of work & it's starting to look like it will pay off...

What do you think is going on with this cut?
Thanks!

Two guesses...air pressure not correct (low), speed a little fast.

Re: Getting close to good cuts... Dross on top?
I think it is from the pierce height not being set correctly. It could also be because of low air pressure, not allowing the pierce to go all the way through the plate.
I am only guessing here, not sure what the cause would be.

I played around with the air pressure, but I think I have it sorted out... Big DUH moment for me, I noticed a dialog box that said "reverse cut" and it was checked, and I remember thinking "Why would I want to reverse the cut?" as I unchecked it. Now I know. Here's your sign!

I believe that is for inner and outer cuts. Clockwise for outter and Counter Clockwise for inner. I think thats right . I have it wrote down at the shop. But it has to do with the swirl of the arc and acheiving the best possible cut.

That is correct...clockwise for outside, counter clockwise for inside. I think I have "reverse cut direction" checked in sheetcam to get it correct.

Re: Getting close to good cuts... Dross on top?
Will check it out at lunch tomorrow... i had some pretty good cuts, then all of a sudden everything went haywire.... thc messing up, bad cuts, cuts not going all the way through the plate etc.... It's the only thing I can point to...
