Hello All
Am new here. Just writing to ask for some recommendations from some more experienced users.
My situation is I am cutting 16 ga. cold rolled sheet using a Torchmate 2 and Thermal Dynamics A-120. I have tried book settings at 40 amps and some best guess settings at 30 amps. Am getting the part to cut using 40 amp book settings but setting the plasma cutter to 30 amps and using a 30 amp tip.
Still have more dross on the back side than what I would like. My question to this forum would some of you that have lots of experience cutting 16 ga. be willing to share some settings that in your experience produce a good part and minimize dross.
Thanks in advance.

Generally if you have dross around the whole bottom of the cut...you are cutting too slow....and/ or the torch is too high off the plate. Cutting too slow is the most common problem.
