Air Pressure????

hello all,
I'm new to all this stuff, and i was wondering if you could help me out a bit. I have a thermal dynamics cutmaster 151 on my table. How do i know what air pressure i should have to cut?

The manual says 70 psi for leads lengths up to 25 feet, 75 psi over 25 feet.

jmsbbrt is spot on and beat me to the punch here.

There is a air purge mode that can be accessed by setting the small rocker switch on the front of the 151 to the bottom position.

Be sure you have 100psi or so feeding the plasma cutter and set the 151 to purge mode. Now adjust the air regulator on the back of the 151 until the guage reads 70-75psi while the air is flowing.

Be sure you have CLEAN DRY AIR being fed to your plasma cutter or you WILL struggle with cut quality. If you see black or gray swirls around your electrode shaft and inside your plasma nozzle then you need to address your air quality.
